OU Collegiate Ministry Report

Campus Minister: Shane Kammerer 2019-2020

Our OU BCM Mission:

We are focused on reaching students for Christ, walking with them to maturity and deploying them as reproducing laborers for the harvest.

OU BCM Staff:

We are missionaries to the University of Oklahoma sent from the local Baptist churches of the Union Baptist Association and the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma. Our job on campus as a staff is to declare the Gospel, develop quality disciples and to deploy reproducing laborers to churches locally, across the state and around the world.

The following are areas of our ministry:

• Paradigm Bible study meetings; more info can be found at www.oubcm.com/paradigm.

• Village Life communities; these groups are primarily student led and facilitated. More info       can be found at www.oubcm.com/village.

• Freshman Challenge; is small-group based time relying on upperclassmen group leaders to        facilitate small group discussion following a short message or testimony by staff. Information   can be found at www.oubcm.com/freshman.

• OU Global Village – There are over 2,000 international students studying at OU from over 100 countries around the world. More details and information about Global Village can be found at www.oubcm.com/gv.

• Ownership: Leadership Training - Student leaders are all assigned a core team who work together to reach out to their defined groups. Student leaders have committed to share the gospel with lost students and to disciple younger students as well.

Thank you churches of the UBA for praying for us and supporting us financially. We are grateful and proud to do ministry with you at the University of Oklahoma.
